An afternoon at the pictures...in chastity. (And other thoughts)
By Elizabeth Swan on
Yesterday I took one of my slaves to the cinema to watch The Duke of Burgundy. He came to mine first so I could lock him in chastity and then off we went. Now I don't believe that one size fits all so I kept expecting to hear the thud of metal hit the ground as my outdoor slave adventures often have an unexpected, unintended comedy element, like the time puck (my collared slave) dropped the nipple clamps in Hyde Park to the exclamation of some nearby Japanese tourists, or the time that I was at the Sexology exhibition at the Wellcome Collection and another slave (carried away by the ancient dildo collection) said at the top of his voice “Will you do THAT to me Mistress?” Arghhhh. Public humiliation is not my thing. Also, phew! That was a long sentence. So if you are still reading I should let you know that the chastity device stayed on. And yes there was discomfort, especially during certain scenes. I found the film powerful, sexy and beautiful. Just in case you don't know anything about the film it is a love story between two women. There is a lot of BDSM scenes that are thought provoking and raise many questions, none of which I shall pose here as I'm not bloody Barry Norman, but I would say watch it. Talking of films I will very quickly mention Fifty Shades as a few of my clients have asked me if I have watched it. No I haven't and no I won't. I have no interest in seeing it. And then there is Jamie Dornan. He said he researched his role by visiting a dungeon. So far, so good. Then followed this by saying “he had a long shower before touching either of them” (his wife and child) Are you kidding me? Disrespectful and rude beyond belief to everyone who works in the industry. If you have a problem with BDSM don't be in a film about it. But hey, at least he got paid well. There are many things that sex workers won't do for money, the same cannot be said for some actors.Elizabeth Swan
