The problem with dating if you are a Dominatrix

My work gives me luxuries like being flown business class around the world with clients and having beautiful clothes and shoes bought for me. Then there are the simple perks like flexible working hours and the money to help my family out when they need it. (My dad was recently in hospital and now needs benefits as he is no longer able to work. But our welfare system does not seem to be there for the men and women who have never claimed and then suddenly find themselves in desperate straits. Over a month now and he hasn't received a penny.) But as this blog entry wasn't intended to be a political rant I will talk about something far more trivial. Which is dating. I constantly get asked to go on dates by men I have never met because they have seen my website. I suppose surfing the domme and escort sites is cheaper than Match.com and Eharmony but it is beyond irritating and so arrogant to assume that even though we charge our lovely clients about 200 pound an hour we would see them for free because they SAY that they are good looking. And actually since when was that a good thing? Some of the best sex I have ever had has been with some very ugly men because they try harder. It is the same with personality I suppose. All the beautiful kids I went to school with who were part of the popular crowd are dull people now as they never had to form a personality as people and opportunities would find their way to them. (And as you are possibly thinking that I am not ugly let me assure you that I was an outstandingly unattractive child with train tracks for 4 years and jamjar glasses). However there is one plus with dating a man who knows what I do for a living. Which is that I don't have to lie. I HATE lying. Plus I am awful at it. I start twitching. So then we are left with THE TRUTH. And the sequence of events follows like so. At first the man thinks it is really cool that I beat a man and get paid for it. They will even make remarks like they would like to do it to a woman and do I have any female clients who would pay them (erm no). Next the doubt starts setting in. So do I do anything else as a man isn't just going to pay to be hurt. Oh my God the man is naked?!!! What if I see clients who have bigger cocks. YOU ARE GOING TO LEAVE ME! Then the end result is generally will I stop working. Be a nice little house wife and I will give you a baby. Which concludes why I don't date.Elizabeth Swan
